I am a doctoral student in Organizational Behavior at the University of Washington’s Foster School of Business. My research explores how language (e.g., rhetoric, framing) shapes developmental relationships and ethical behavior within organizations. I am especially interested in how individuals communicate moral concerns, request accommodations, and express identity in ways that influence perceptions of fairness, humility development, and leadership emergence. My current projects investigate phenomena such as moral feedback, solitude, peer coaching, and the framing of DEI-related discourse, with an emphasis on how these communicative acts shape relational and evaluative outcomes in workplace settings. I will be on the 2027-2028 academic job market. A link to my recent CV can be found HERE.
I received my BA in Psychology from Knox College, my MBA from Aurora University, and my Master's in Organizational Leadership from Arizona State University. Prior to starting my doctoral program, I managed food safety programs of clients at Ecolab, Inc., ensured the integrity of product data to global retailers at Wilton Brands, LLC., oversaw a global data governance team at Sensient Technologies, Inc., and lead the data governance program at USAble Life Insurance.
